Personality traits show how you have played Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord until now. They show exactly what other people think of you. These are really important when considering companions and lords to join your faction, as they will decide how that NPC lives his day-to-day life. medicine and engi have GREAT governor perks, and should be targeted for companions when hiring them in the first place. great perks, and hard to level. 1.7.2 should make engi easier to get.. but, getting your companions to man siege weapons.. uh. not sure on that atm.. got to be a way, don't know what it is yet..
In my experience he will loose more than train and will end with full stack of low tier trash. Last time i created a separate party for my companion he procceded to wreck his face in 5 mins time. There goes my semi elite 80 army i gave him and all i got in return was plus 1 relation with some random merchant.
Why the game doesn't really handle a lot of companions well. Mainly, the skill/perk system is a huge drag to allocate with so many companions. The "C" Character menu has terrible performance scaling. With 75 companions, it was taking 5 seconds to load. Doing this after every battle was annoying. The menu itself is also terribly designed.
